I've done all my aerobatic training in a Super Decathalon. It's a great
plane and flies aerobatics quite well, especially for us new pilots. It's
fairly common and reasonably affordable. It can do any aerobatic maneuver
you are going to want to try for the first year or two. It's also a very
safe plane with few quirks to worry about. If you can find one to rent,
jump on it.
On the other hand, if you have easy access to an aerobat, then go for it!
You can always move up to a more capable plane later. Like the Nike ad
says, just do it. You will be surprised at how easy and fun aerobatics are,
and how addicting it is.
