Hello all,
This topic has probably been covered before, so please excuse me if I am
beating a dead horse.
Last weekend, I spent 2.2 hrs. flying in one weekend day session. (That
includes a short break for fuel.) Not a lot of exceedingly rough akro,
but I hit +5.5/-2 pretty regularly. After I felt "done" with the
aerobatics I flew to a field north of my home base (uncontrolled) and
couldn't, for a time, puzzle out the right traffic pattern entry for
runway 30. It seems so simple in retrospect that I can't believe I was
as confused as I was, but I realize now I was "fuzzy" in the brain. I
decided to fly home instead.
Question: has anyone noticed any "warning signs" (that perhaps I missed)
that your brain has had enough spins, rolls, and loops for one day? I
am really surprised at how befuddled I felt that day, and wonder if
perhaps I should heed any "warnings" I might get before I get to that
same point again.
Thank you,
--
