Hi Ed, I have a really pretty EAA BIPE with an 0-290 that I
have been flying for about 5 years.....love the plane ! It's
a great plane for weekend aerobatics. My budget keeps me out
of the high powered stuff, but I have just as much fun as my
buddies flying the Hot Rods. With 125hp I still manage to do
loops, rolls, barrel rolls, snap rolls, hammerheads,
immelmanns, cuban 8s, loop w/roll on top and so on. I fly
with another EAABIPE with an 0-300 and because of the extra
weight his performance is not near mine, but he's having a
ball in it.
If you want to chat about EAA BIPES, you are welcome to give
me a call, by the way, mine is for sale $14,500 obo
(divorce). I have owned mine twice.....had to sell it
because of another divorce and bought it back after I got
financially well again. Lesson learned....I'm a better pilot
than a husband !
