I am not an expert but reading Kershner's book and he specifically writes
about the 150-152 (mainly aerobat), he states full opposite rudder, followed
quickly by a "brisk" forward movement of the wheel, "and held" (maybe to
full forward). Perhaps your release of back stick was not the brisk forward
motion needed. Glad you came out ok though. Incidentally, in 74 I believe
they increased the rudder size to give it more rudder authority in this
situation.
