Hi John,
Yeah I'm another avid Pitts Follower ( isn't it just a fantastic aeroplane
!! ) who also want's a copy of this book. Can't find one over here in the
U.K. and you're right Amazon deny all knowledge of the book as do BOL ( same
company ?).
If you find a copy or copies PLEASE let me know.
By the way I have litterally hundreds of links to Pitts oriented sites,
everything from accident reports to how to build one in pictures !!
I am constructing a web site dedicated to the Pitts which I hope to have on
line later this year and am collecting as much info as I possibly can. (
Professional model maker actually thinking of diversifying into Pitts
Models.... my personal passion ).If you need to know anything specific
please ask I may be able to help.
If you have any info to swap I'd love to hear from you.
I've probably got enough info to be able to write a book about the Pitts
myself !! ( Might do that one day ! )
Dont know of where I could get hold a cheap set of second hand drawings for
the S1-S ( or similar ) by any chance ? There must be a set gathering dust
out there somwhere.
Went to see an aerobatics comp at Welshpool this weekend. Two Pitts there,
and was able to take loads of photo's from every conceivable angle
.........GREAT !!
Love to hear from you, keep in touch,
Cheers,
Nick Tolhurst ( B.Sc Mech Eng )
