Subject: Aerobatic passengers and choosing maneuvers
From: Herb Martin

Ok, I am good to travel without my CFI
for aerobatics in the club plane.

I have my #1 passenger (wife) who is excited
about flying aerobatics with me and has been
waiting impatiently for the check out.....

Who has taken family passengers up and had
success where they enjoyed the trip as much
or more than they had hoped?

What maneuvers did you do FIRST? What
did you leave out or include?

Obviously, one should fly maneuvers that are
well within your skill level and competence.

Obviously, it is a good idea to quit, or at least
fly wings level, if the passenger (or pilot) gets
that "It's not so much fun anymore" feeling.

Good briefings and "bag at hand" seem to
increase confidence and remove uncertainty.
