I'm a 250lb P3 pilot, so yeah, you can do it.

The main problem is finding a big glider. We're pretty
close to 130kg (290lbs) all-up weight. Most of the XL
gliders top out around there. However, in most cases
it's better to be flying at the top of the recommended
weight range.

The main fitness question you have to ask is: when
practicing ground handling, can you walk back up
the hill 100-200 yards? If the answer is yes, no
problem.
