My GPS was stolen and my insurance has just come through ... but now can't
decide which I should replace my old Garmin 12 with. The Garmin emap seems
to have uses outside of just flying and a big screen but not as robust or
waterproof .. the new Garmin eTrex outdoor range is very comprehensive with
the top one including 24Mb memory, maps, barometric altimeter and compass
but small screen. I came across a useful site to compare prices

I am a recreational pilot who sometimes flies with a mosquito and like to
download my tracks to OZI Explorer for XC's etc...

Does anyone have any issues or reasons to avoid any of the above for flying
or reasons why one is particularity good.
