To H-3 Tenn. pilot: The hang straps are positioned in front of the
control bar apex box from the keel. This has the straps going through
the keel pocket hole placed from 0"- 2" in front of the box, depending
on your preferred trim of the glider. I had to check out an '84 copy of
HG mag. to double check my recollection. It featured a nice centerfold
of Eric Raymond on a C-2 over the Aletsch glacier in the Alps. BTW, have
you checked the sail for UV degradation? That's obviously an older
glider you've got there, however I bet the performance might open the
eyes of some pilots, particularly re. the sink rate. Fly safe,......John
