Yea, and when was the last time you saw a wrecked Piper Cherokee or 23 wrecked
motorcycles or 600 feet of 6061T6 aluminum in your local junkyard? Of course
its seeded. They wouldn't have much of a show otherwise.
As for a junkyard-parts, guerilla-designed glider, it is possible to build one
that flies. I've been flying on training hills under bamboo and 4 mil plastic
for 3 years now without an accident. And they're "results" are about what can
be expected from a machine that is that inefficient.
