thanks for yr reply.
i will visit your links as soon as I ring in the next time.
in the meatime however one question :
what do you mean with :

top to bottoms are from 1600 to 3 grand

is this height difference between take off and landing ?
and is this meter or feet ?
meters is impossible
but even feet looks high for this mountain range

and when you fly in the dales, is this also on the pennines ?
i walked the pennine way 20 years ago and would like to come back and fly
some of these hills.
the advantage is that there are no trees to grab you. and the views were
gorgeous.
do I understand that also the massif central would have less trees as
f.i.the alps ?
