Just wondering how many of you are running the SETI@home screen saver
application?
You can find the site at http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/.
I ran a few checks on the listed user profiles looking for "Hang Glider" and
only came up with three listings. I am sure there are more but I would
assume most have not set up their profile on the site?
If you are running the app I have set up a group "Hang Glider pilots around
the world" that you can associate with and watch the total CPU time and work
units grow from all Pilots that join. It's kind of cool and something to do
with all of that spare computer power sitting around.
If you are not running the app it's a very small download, it's free and
again something to do while your computer is sitting idle. With as many
pilots as we have on the various groups we could be one of the top producers
in the world in just a few short months.
