Some of you may be interested in the recent developments of the Marske
Monarch. After years of hang gliding I have helped develop the Monarch
which has a low sink rate of about 130 fpm and and glider ratio of over
20:1 and retains the open air feeling. The empty weight of the carbon
version is 138 pounds.

We usually auto tow to 1000 ft and then fly for the day. A no hassle
glider with a lot of performance.

Auto towing is espeically easy, the vehicle travels at 15- 20 mph
depending on the wind, so one can tow from a field and there is never
any chance of a lock out with the powerful rudder.
