The problem with my shoulder is usually when my elbow is level or
higher than the shoulder or anytime I have to have my hands over my
head.
I don't feel I have any loss in strength so the size and weight don't
bother me.
With paragliding it seems the hands are elevated for the steering. In
a hanglider (suprone) my hands never come above my shoulders.
