I agree with BobC that there are a small group of dedicated jerks who fly HG.
My decision to fly HG over PG centered around the "Collapse" issue. Once I got
out to the training sites and launches I realized that as a group I'd rather
spend time with the PG crowd anyday. It was so bad at times that I considered
switching wings just to spend my precious free time with people I liked. In
time I found bunches of good people who flew HG and the problem was solved. I
now just ignore or laugh at the jerks, but I ALWAYS offer launch assistance to
ANYONE and until reading BobC's post I never thought about whether my glider or
my car was preventing top landings for a PG. I will now offer to make space for
the baggers to top drop.
