Oh come on now Bob, you don't really believe that an HG can't slow down do
you? That's what we do when we want to max out a thermal. That's just an
excuse for you to air-hog the core.

Now see, I knew you didn't believe that a PG had to hog the core! ;-)
Elsinore is where I fly most of the time, and every once in a while, some
clueless(!) Sandy Eggo PG pilot will come up and totally screw up
everything. <g>

> When HGs and PGs share a thermal, the PGs had BETTER be to the inside!

No, they had better be flying fast, opposite the HG that's up on a tip and
pushed out.

Sounds like you are blaming all HGs for a site-specific problem. Make it
clear that it's the Sandy Eggo pilots you have a hard-on against.

If I can set up there then you can land there. You shouldn't be landing in
the set-up area anyway! Landings are for the L Z.

That's probably because they have their gear laid out and its a pain to
gather it all up and move it because some Johnny-come-lately wants to top
land the set-up area.

They probably still have the harness and other gear in the truck. You want
them to park further away and carry their stuff so you can top land the
set-up area?

> Yet at Elsinore it happened for me twice in a single weekend! I was
amazed.

You're welcome.

> Everyone in the world should have an HG truck, right?

Nope, just those that want a ride to launch or a retrieve. What goes around
comes around.

beer. I

You are dreaming! My wife drives chase in my truck, Elsinore doesn't
require a wire assist, I don't drink, and since you don't have a rack,
there's no way I'm getting on your motor scooter!

So lose the attiude, quit trying to land in the set up area, and maybe even
the S.D. boys will come around. Or not.
