Why is that an obvious conclusion? It seems rather debatable to me. But of
course, as a libertarian, I would like genuine privatization. It seems we
could do away with the FAA almost entirely -- insurance companies and
aviation employers have stricter standards than the FAA anyway. But I worry
that instead of privatization of the airways that we would instead get
something like the US Postal Service -- hardly a model of efficiency.
