Nope. Any clearance cancels the one before. Legally, if he just says "fly
heading 260", that's the clearance, you fly 260 around the earth, no matter
what he told you before. If you figure he's just giving you a corrected
vector to join the airway, ask him if that's the case, like "verify heading
260 to intercept V-387" - he'll just say "affirmative", and that's it. If
ever in doubt: ASK ASK ASK!
