I understand completely this is not for approaches, i.e.
not for descending below minimums on an approach.
Nonetheless would it be helpful in VFR conditions at night?
Or would it be helpful as an additional information source
(an electronic VASI) when a runway is in sight on a non-precision
approach?
Or are you saying its GPS altitude is so coarse in accuracy that
it is not useful for this purpose even VFR?
