And I flew my second (of the six I've had scheduled) last Saturday. Took my
C-172 on a trip to Topeka (from Denver) to pick up two people and bring them
back to western Kansas. Other than an initial snafu, all went well.

After dropping them off, got to fly home night-VFR between cloud layers. Sure
glad I'd had the instrument training I'm almost done with. Stayed legal and
well distant from the clouds themselves, but not too comfortable about what the
results of an engine out might have been.

AngelFlight West is great, and our Colorado coordinator is absolutely the best.
