I have run X-Plane on Vooodoo Rush, Voodoo Banshee, Voodoo II Canopus, TNT2
Viper770 and TNT2 Gigabyte video cards on everything from Pentium 200Mhz, to
Pentium II's, III's, AMD K6's and an Athlon 800Mhz..
No problems. The biggest problem has always been PROPER OpenGL drivers from
the vendor. Nothing that the author can do, can fix underlaying problems due
to a POOR OPENGL DRIVER IMPLEMENTATION by the video manufacturer. The Voodoo
manufacturers particularly have been very guilty of this in the past,
proving absolute crappy OpenGL drivers for their video hardware.

At least there _is_ a demo to checkout. Unlike FS2000. Or Fly (with the
exception of their el-cheapo Fly over SF Bay CD which still cost you money).
Or Flight Unlimited III. Or PS1. Or ATP2. Or Elite. Or.. should I go on?
If the demo does not work for you and you failed to resolve the technical
problems you get in order to evaluate the demo.. and then you STILL go ahead
and buy the product irrespectively.. well, that only proves in my mind the
old saying that a fool and his money are easily parted.
