I have been using JeppView now for a while and it's pretty cool. The only
way to use it effectively is to get the paper from Jeppessen and print them
out 2 per page on a duplex printer (both sides). Or your binders will be
enormous! The printing capabilities are lacking. You can't print out the
whole sherbang - you have to go airport by airport. Once all the charts are
printed, you merely have to print out the revisions and update your binder.
That way, you have every chart with you when you fly. If you take a chart
out and mangle it, no problem just print out another one. That's what the
product does for you. There is no other way to really use it. FlightDeck
is a rip-off for what it is and does and nobody wants to lug around a laptop
to the field.
