We have been informed that the older Cherokees had a rubber ring behind
the landing light. Supposedly, this added some shock absorbtion to the
landing light.
As we are going through landing lights like prunes through a goose, we
thought perhaps adding this rubber ring might be helpful.
Does anybody know where such an item might be purchased?
By the way, we have switched to halogen bulbs and rotated the filament
vertical, and it still eats bulbs.
